Jérôme GossetJérôme Gosset has an engineering degree form Ecole Polytechnique and from Corps des Mines. He is a doctor in Plasma Physics.

In 1996, he started to work for the development of the French uranium laser enrichment process (AVLIS) with the French Atomic Energy commission.

He was responsible of the TechnicoEconomic and design laboratory from 2000 to 2003, and managed the AVLIS scale 1 demonstration experiments in 2003 that successfully demonstrated the feasibility of this process. At the beginning of 2004, he joined “Ecole des Mines de Paris”, where he took responsibility of the Center of Energy and Processes, a 150 people research center mainly dedicated to renewable energy, heat transfers and nanomaterials applied to energy.

The center is also in charge of all Ecole des Mines’ lectures relating to Energy and Chemical Engineering. Under M Gosset leadership, the laboratory renewed its scientific excellence, revitalized the Chemical Engineering courses, and created the “International Energy Management” master with Tsinghua University.

He joined the AREVA group in 2007 as Deputy Vice-President of the research & innovation corporate department, in charge of renewable energies, hydrogen production from nuclear, and their applications to oil industry.

He was also at that time Chief Technology Officer of AREVA’s Renewable Business Unit. He created the AREVA Renewable research and innovation organization and defined its programs for the next few years. Early 2010, he joined AREVA Renewables Business Group full time to be the VP for Engineering and Innovation.
