Santiago is the CEO of Abengoa Solar, a leading international solar power company.

Abengoa Solar develops its own technology, designs and operates large solar power plants. Currently Abengoa Solar has 193 megawatts (MW) in operation, including the first two commercial solar power towers worldwide, 500MW in construction and many more under development around the world.

Santiago was formerly the responsible for Strategy and Corporate Development of Abengoa. Abengoa is a 5 billion euros technology company very active in renewable energy, water, recycling and other businesses around sustainable development.

Before joining Abengoa Santiago was a partner with McKinsey & Company.
